Hi guys! I wanted to kick off November with a fun blog post. What better month to give thanks and be grateful than this one, especially after a crazy year. But to be honest, I am so grateful for 2020.
Expressing gratitude also increases your vibe! We all operate at different frequencies and our mood determines that. You know when someone feels “off” or when someone walks in with a terrible mood. You know when someone is just so happy and you can feel that? Well their all operating at higher or lower frequencies aka vibes.
Keep in mind the Law of Attraction.. You attract and manifest your thoughts into your reality. This is the perfect time to attract positivity and abundance and all things meant for you.
- So let’s start with this, I am incredibly grateful for 2020 and all that has happened for me. This was the biggest year of growth for myself as well as many others I know. I am thankful for shaping more into the person I was always meant to be.
- Every year is challenging but I am so grateful for Tommy and I having our own place this year. Last year was like our entire world shook, we moved a around a few times not really having our own place from June through December. This home we live in brings so much relief and gratitude with it. It made a lot of our stress and worries disappear. A true blessing we will forever be grateful for.
- My car!! Guy’s I know, we are all grateful when we own a car (especially if it’s paid off) but my girl is on her last legs and I am so sad to be giving her up soon. She’s old so I knew it was coming. I am grateful for all of the fun times I had in my car. All of the road trips with her, laughs, tears, road rage lol. We’ve all been there.. don’t judge. But seriously, I’m gonna miss her <3
- My business! Oh man.. this one. This makes me entirely too happy to think about. I literally own my own business “Bootifully Fit”. My business allowed me to work from home for the last year and a half. I may not be where I want to be with it but I am a lot further than I used to be and ever thought I would get. My business allowed me to help so many of my Bootifully Fit Babes get themselves to a healthier place. Tears, frustration, trial & errors, laughs & breakthroughs. I love my little biz and she is the best thing I have ever created.
- Of course I now have to mention my clients aka my Bootifully Fit Babes! Some I became great friends with and still talk to! Some who were a learning experience. I love each and every one of them. It’s a personal journey I really enjoy being a part of. 2020 was rough for everyone but these women.. man. These women pushed through and committed to growth. My program isn’t just health and fitness. It’s the whole package! It’s mindset, lifestyle, individualized goals. It’s becoming your highest self! What more could I ask of these lovely ladies than to help them become who they were always meant to be.
- Tommy aka Babycakes. I’m sure alllll the ladies say they’re grateful for their fiance/bf/husband/etc. but honestly guys. I really don’t know what I would do or where I would be without him. He has been by my side through the up’s and down’s, tough times, laughs, cries, etc. If you ever find someone who supports you and loves you as much as you do them, keep them forever and if you don’t have that, I promise one day you will.
- I am incredibly grateful for my health. We all say this but I mean it. I started this year out wearing a heart monitor. I never got around to the neurology appts so I am picking up where I left off! I’m fine btw. I just need to figure out why my body does weird things lol.
- Abundance. Now abundance doesn’t always mean money. I mean abundance in all aspects. Of course money is one of them!
Money allows me to buy things that I love, live and pay bills, but money isn’t something I always had enough of. I remember not too long ago living paycheck to paycheck and picking and choosing what bills to pay and what not to… I made $720 biweekly and my second check basically went to rent. I learned a lot of skills with that though. I learned how to budget properly, how to spend my money wisely on things I absolutely loved and wanted, not just wanted for 5 minutes. I never “wasted” it in that sense and I learned how to value it and appreciate it more.
So yes, money is apart of my abundance gratitude.
I am also super grateful for an abundance of love, friends, support, knowledge etc. that have come in my life, or stayed in my life. I value my friendships and the support we give each other. I never take a friend for granted even if they only come in my life for a short time. That is always the hard part… letting go but I learned over the last few years that when you can let go of something not meant to be in your life (or someone), you create more room for abundance to come your way in any form.
This list was so much easier to write than I expected! - I am extremely grateful for being able to spend time with my family more and have the flexibility to do so in my schedule. I am pretty busy most days with the blog, coaching, content creation, and now I’m finally getting back into private trainings in my FB group for my Bootifully Fit Babes. But I didn’t have the flexibility in my schedule before a year and a half ago. I would see them when I did and that was it. My parents don’t live close by so I only see them when they visit. We do have to plan a trip over soon though as well as to my sisters. She lives the furthest and I haven’t seen her in a very long time.
My schedule before was pretty set in stone and I didn’t have weekends off which was when I could see my family mostly. I prioritized the gym to compete, school, then work and homework. There wasn’t really room for anything else.
I am realizing now that I’m pretty past competing again that I would much rather spend my days with the fam and go to the gym as Tommy and I’s schedules permit. My body loves the extra rest days! - Taking the time to focus on my inner/personal growth. I know I kind of mentioned this one above but it ties into a few things. I am beyond grateful I have the time to focus on myself throughout my days.
I have a morning routine going, working on adding to my night time routine, and I still practice deep breathing and meditation here and there. Not as much the last couple months but it was a daily things which I loved.
I love that I have the freedom and time to do things that make me feel good! I learned so much about shadow work, inner child healing, chakra clearing, meditation, manifestation, the list goes on! There is so much to add here and I love that I was able to pick up where I left off a few years ago when the inner work scared the heck out of me. I know that things get challenging for me when there is a lesson to learn. I understand that not everything is meant to stay for me. And honestly my entire perspective shifted on a lot. Instead of having a victim mindset I am able to step back and see what needs healing, clearing, or a lesson.
I would love to hear something you are grateful for as well! Comment 1-2 things below and let’s start this season off with high vibes and abundance.
