Easy Dollar Store Candy Cane Wreath

Happy December first babes! I am so freaking excited about this month you have no idea. I love Christmas time and let’s be honest. 2020 Christmas needs to make up for the rest of the year lol.

I’m starting Blogmas off with a DIY candy cane wreath! You can also do this with a circle wire wreath as well if you can’t find the same one! I got all of my supplies at the Dollar Store awhile ago.

This wreath is super easy and you can use hot glue to keep the ribbon in place.. I don’t have a hot glue gun just yet so I used some tape lol. You won’t see it anyway. In my defense, I was never this crafty before so I need a lot of things.

First I started by tucking the top of the candy cane to cover the wiring and I taped it in place then just wrapped and overlapped the ribbon.

At some point I ran out of ribbon which is fine and I taped to hold it in place then picked up where I left off. Dollar Store ribbons are only a specific footage so if you have a longer one, you should be fine skipping this part.

After it was all wrapped, I cut and tucked in the bottom of the ribbon, then taped it inside where you can’t see it.

I used green tulle with fake snow on it to create a big bow.

Then the extra floral arrangements I had from my display I just tucked right into the ribbon.

This candy cane wreath was easier than I expected. I’m really not the crafty one in my family as I mentioned so this is a huge deal to me.

Enjoy your week and I am so looking forward to Blogmas this year!!
