One big thing I work on my clients with is goal setting and mindset. Most women come to me wanting to lose weight in a sustainable way and they hire me to help them with a GAME PLAN and then holding them accountable to that plan.
Their plan is very customized to the person but we use a strategy that works for everyone. It can be applied to anything goal related, not just health and fitness.
This strategy is called SMART goals.
SMART goals are used a lot in the fitness industry. They are easily achieved and help break down long-term goals in a more organized way.
SMART goals stands for:
Specific: What exactly will you do?
Measurable: How will you know if you meet your goal?
Attainable: What steps are you going to take to reach your goal?
Relevant: What about your goal makes it important to you?
Timely: When do you want to complete your goal?
This is a huge step when starting something new. If you don’t have an actionable plan, how will you actually meet your goals?
This isn’t the only way to meet a goal and create a game plan either but it’s an easy to follow system that you can apply to anything in your life.
I am huge on achieving goals and this is my big secret. This is how I became a bikini competitor, an online coach, a biker (yah I have a motorcycle lol), and so many other accomplishments.
I dare you to take the big scary leap forward and apply this to a goal, ANY goal. Watch how easy it is to change your life.
