Welcome back to another Monthly Favorites blog and boy am I excited to finally share these with you! These are all things I use and love or else I wouldn’t recommend them. I hope you love them as much as I do!
I might make a small commission on affiliate links at no additional cost to you. This is still 100% my own opinion and I stand by that. If you use my links just know you are supporting me and my business and I truly appreciate that. Thank you!
Boka mint toothpaste: Boka is literally my favorite. I switched to a natural toothpaste a couple years ago using Dr. Bronners and I liked it but I didn’t love it. My teeth ended up becoming super sensitive and I decided it was time for a change to repair my teeth. Boka contains something call nano-hydroxyapatite which is a safer version of what our teeth are made from (hydroxyapatite). This helps repair enamel and cavities overtime. My sensitivity has gone away and my teeth are so much better after just a couple months of using it. I highly recommend! I set mine up on a delivery schedule every two months. It might seem a little pricey for toothpaste but the dentist is much more money in the long run and I use a tube about every 2 months(ish) so it’s really not that bad.

Marc Anthony Leave In Conditioner: This is by far my favorite leave in conditioner. I used the sample I got in my Ipsy bag awhile ago and my hair is so soft, it doesn’t leave a build up or residue on your hair and it makes my curls super nice. No frizz. Def recommend trying it out. Since this is a spray bottle I recommend spraying it in your hand and working through your hair.
Yoga with Adriene: I do these just about every morning and have for years. I really enjoy her videos and flows, especially the 30 day ones. I love that she is also very personable and relatable through her videos and her personality shines through. She has beginner, intermediate, and advanced lessons and modifications along the way.
Move with Nicole: Pilates: On the days I don’t do yoga sometimes I decide to do pilates! She has yoga videos too but I’m currently obsessed with YWA (above) lol. I love pilates and always have. Definitely recommend this channel whether you are a beginner or advanced.
Dry Brush: This I got on Amazon years ago. Dry brushing helps to drain the lymphatic system which is our only system that does not move on it’s own. It helps move toxins out of your body, exfoliate, blood flow, all the things. I recommend looking into this Ayurvedic method because there are so many benefits to it.
Shea Butter: I have used GloNaturals organic unrefined shea butter for years and it has helped all of the dry patches, eczema, and my feet soooo much! I massage this into my feet every night and it has become a night routine I really look forward to. Here is another brand I used before and love just as much on Amazon if you need it right away! Especially because those summer months and sandal weather is just around the corner. It’s really good just to take care of your feet anyway.
Duvet Cover: Tom and I love this duvet cover! All the duvet covers we have bought so far have ties to keep the duvet in place which is amazing. Super soft material, and we have a king size even though the bed is a queen. I love the extra length and no one is fighting over the blankets.
Duvet Insert: We bought this insert back in December and it is honestly our favorite. Tommy naturally runs hot and I run cold and we both are beyond comfortable under this duvet. It’s the perfect weight, breathable, and fluffy. Highly recommend. I love that you can keep the same comforter and change put the covers over time without having 10000 bulky comforters in the closet. We decided to buy a king size even though our bed is a queen. We ended up loving the extra length.
Castor Oil: I bought this one to help with healing my gut and helping my body with hormone balance, breaking down biofilm, reduce inflammation, support my liver and bile flow, reduce stress, and move things along. This has been so helpful and I typically leave it on for an hour or so. When first beginning, you only want to start with 5-10 minutes at a time and make sure you don’t have a reaction to it or for lack of a better phrase, get the poops lol. Castor oil is a great carrier oil so it is extremely important to buy one from a glass bottle, organic, cold-pressed, hexane-free. You don’t want those chemicals going into your body! You can read more about the castor-oil packs for gut health in my recent blog here.
***Just a disclaimer, this is a no-go if you are pregnant as it can induce labor.***
