Hey guys! Welcome back to the blog! And if you’re new here, welcome! I am so glad you stopped by.
I’m so excited to share my March favorites with you. Some of these will probably be on older “favorites” blogs but I am still using them to this date years later so I want to share them again with you.
I will start with the few things I am obsessed with and still using to date! No sponsorships or anything. Just pure love. Some of these I do have affiliate codes to share which some help save you money and I may make a commission from but I just have to state that on here even if I don’t lol. Blogging laws.
Monthly Subscriptions I’ve had for years and still continue to love!
Lola tampons! I made the switch to these in 2020 completely and left my old tampons in the dust. I love that they are 100% organic cotton and I get the cardboard applicator because it’s more eco-friendly than the plastic. When you try them out using my link, you get $5 off your first order!
They offer more than just tampons too. They have other period products, sex, vaginal health, pregnancy and fertility, as well as popular set suggestions.
Ipsy Bags! I frickin LOVE my ipsy subscription. It gives me the opportunity to try out different products I wouldn’t know exist otherwise and most I end up really loving. What isn’t for me I will gift unopened to my nieces or sisters, especially the bags. I reuse a lot of them as quick wallets to grab and go with or to organize my purse, hold pens, etc. Other times I use them on vacation to keep my chargers together. They’re super nifty for just about anything. I love that they also started doing razor subscriptions in their Ipsy Refreshers and I have zero complaints about them. I’ve tried others in the past and when they fell, they’d always break or they just weren’t sharp. They didn’t give me that smooth shave I wanted. These do!! Def recommend at least trying them but you won’t be disappointed.
You can try Ipsy out here!
Dr Bronner’s castile soap: I have been using this soap for so long and I don’t think I ever included it in my favorites recaps. I honestly love this and it works so well for my skin. I am on a journey of reducing a lot of chemicals in my daily products (I’m super picky about what goes on my skin) and this is one that has stuck with me! I love the citrus smell but they have others and an essential oil-less version. I love that I can put this on my body and know it’s not doing anything harmful like disrupting my hormones.
I will have to update my toothpaste in another recap because I switched from Dr Bronners and the new one is currently sold out everywhere that I can’t even get it for myself just yet lol. I still like Dr Bronners so I wanted to mention that here anyway.
BOOKS!!!
I made it a goal this year to read so many books and really develop into my higher self. I want growth in all aspects and I just truly enjoy reading. I’m such a cozy, stay at home, hermit kind of person lol. Anyone else? Here is a list of the books I read and enjoyed in March. I post all of my books on my Instagram under the Brain Gains Highlight if you want to check out previous and current books not listed here.
Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis. SO GOOD. Highly recommend, especially if you are a mom because she goes over her mom guilt and her life. It’s just such a down to earth relatable book.
The Happiness Equation: I liked how he really simplified being grateful for what you have in the now, the present moment. It was a quick and good read IMO.
Emotional Intelligence 2.0: If you want to have a better awareness and understanding of your emotions, this was a great read. It was definitely an eye opener for me even though I opted not to take the EI test. You can still get a lot from the book by itself.
Speaking of books, I do get some of mine on Amazon but I also look on Thriftbooks first. One, they’re usually cheaper and since I am reading ALOT I want this to be affordable and second, I am all for reusing a preowned book! All of the one’s I have gotten so far have been in great condition and are around $4-$5. If you use my link, you can earn free books!
I believe that’s all for March! I hope you enjoyed this one!
