Good morning bbes! Can you believe it’s the end of May already? Am I the only one thinking this month is flying by… I’m not mad though! Here in NY, it’s been amazing weather and only getting warmer. Tom and I have been able to sleep with the window’s open a few nights and its been in the 70’s. Literally perfect for walks and other outdoorsy activities.

My garden is coming along great! Actually, my plants lol. The garden still needs to be built LOL. I’ll do a whole garden update once that’s all done. I also loveeee the cozy cottage feel so I planted some wildflowers and sunflowers along side of our place to bring some more color and life to it. It was pretty ugly before, not gonna lie.
Anywayyyy, here are some of the things I have been loving this month! I liked the idea of doing these monthly fav’s because I am always looking for things myself and when I find something I actually like, I love to share that thing with my friends.
What I’m loving this month (May)
Coconut Shreds: Okay, I know this one is a little weird lol but I put anything I am enjoying on here and that includes food!! I have been baking with these in my cookies, adding them to my sweet potato bowls, and topping oatmeal at night with them. They add just the right touch to change up my normal every day foods. Plus, they have a ton of benefits to eating them. It’s an easy way for me to get some extra nutrients in my days. I got The organic ones at Walmart for just a couple dollars!
Enlightened (non-dairy & dairy) ice cream popsicles: I loveeeee Eat Enlightened guys. If you’ve been following me since my prep days, I used to eat this almost every night. If it wasn’t this brand, it was Halo Top. I cut back because sugar alcohols are not exactly the best for our gut BUT I was eating the cookies & creme and S’mores ice creams recently when I needed something cold and sweet on those hotter days we had.
Life Fit Smart Watch: This is why this blog is so late haha. I was waiting to get this smart watching in the mail and it was taking soooo long. Totally understandable with everything going on in the world. I’m not mad at all, just wanted to test it out before I added it to the list.
This smart watch is super affordable and it does mostly what I want it to. I say mostly because it doesn’t have a weightlifting setting to track my workout. It does offer other sports modes like, running, walk, bike, hike, climbing, treadmill, spinning, and yoga. I usually pick climbing when I remember before my workout haha.
It tracks my heart rate, my steps and reminds me to move if I’m sitting too long, and there’s a few other features.
It’s also super cute on your wrist too, similar to an apple watch.
I’ve only charged it once in about 2 weeks and I could’ve gone a few extra days I’m sure. I charged it at 18% battery and it charges back up super fast.
All-in-all, it’s a great watch for the price and much more affordable so it won’t break the bank.
You can find it on Amazon here!
Wayfair Bed Frame: I’ve been debating on putting this one on this list orrrr making a separate post completely but I’ll probably keep putting it off if I do lol. This is a start!
Tom and I needed a new bed frame ASAP. My old one was just so heavy and bulky, plus I wanted to keep the rustic farmhouse, cottage feel going. I fell in love with this right away and Tom just goes with whatever haha. I love him for that. He’s also quite the handy man so he put it all together for us. I helped a bit but then left to go make food haha.
I have to say, this bed frame is great. Tom and I are bodybuilders (I’m small no matter how hard I try) but we needed something that wouldn’t break with a 200 pound limit. The wooden planks made me a bit nervous that the mattress would cave through but it’s holding up!
I’m so obsessed with the wooden legs too. Seriously such a great buy and it was very inexpensive compared to other frames.
Unfortunately the one we bought is sold out HOWEVER, you can set up alerts to be notified for restock and find similar items on the site as well. I’ll still link it here!
Ipsy:
This one will just be a monthly staple. I love Ipsy and I always look forward to my bag each month. I love that they include vegan and cruelty-free products too. It helps me have variety haha.
If you do try them out, I will attach my referral link here!
I do get points if you sign up as a new customer. I can redeem my points for a product if I choose. I don’t make commission off of them and this is not sponsored. It just a friend referring a friend <3
1Up Nutrition Protein:
I have tried a lot of protein powder since starting my fitness journey and I have found very few that do not bloat my stomach, give me poops or cramps, etc. This is one brand I trust 100% and does not bother me one bit. I purchase all of my products from 1Up and all of my opinions are my own.
I don’t talk about brands/supplements often. Only when I truly believe in the brand and product.
I have been loving my Buff Bunny Unicorn Doughnut protein and my newest purchase Chocolate Peanut Butter Blast.
You can find them here!
If you do decide to purchase anything from 1Up, my code “LITTLECARILLO” will save you 20% off.
If you happen to not like the product, they have an awesome return policy too. You can also combine my code with site sales too and save extra.
I am sponsored by 1Up but this is not a sponsored post. If you use my code, I do make a small commission which helps support me and my brand.
Thanks so much for reading! I’m looking forward to next months blog favorites already!
What are you looking forward to trying most?!
