Hi guys! Happy Thursday! I honestly really enjoy writing these blogs and I always look forward to them in the month. I’ve received messages from everyone saying how helpful they found these blogs, that they relate to them, or they enjoy similar/the same products!
So here we are on more month in. I’m thinking about doing maybe a blog-mas series for December and maybe something for Thanksgiving time in November. Let me know your thoughts!

Jumping right in, I want to start with Kirk’s soap. I seriously have never loved a bar of soap so much. I had friends recommend Dr. Bronners to me but I came across this in my search and decided to try it out. It made the cut so obviously, I’m not disappointed 🙂
Kirk’s 100% premium coconut oil gentile castile soap:
Fragrance Free, 3 bars, Cruelty free, non-GMO, ~$5
These bars have seriously changed my life. I have such sensitive skin and fragrant anything is a big no-no for me. I try and avoid it like the plague or I get super dry patches/skin, itchy, hives, etc. It’s just a nightmare.
I typically get bumps on my skin and dry patches anyway so when I find something, I stick to it. I noticed they are slowly going away or at least becoming less noticeable since making the switch to Kirk’s.
Also, not pictured, I bought a Vitamin E body oil at TJ Maxx in January. It was such a large bottle clearanced for a few dollars. I couldn’t say no. I’ve been using this instead of lotion and that’s helped with moisture as well. Especially after shaving!
Next we have my favorite chocolate EVER created. I’m not just saying that either. I’m pretty particular when it comes to my chocolate.
Endangered Species Chocolate:
Almonds, Sea Salt, + Dark Chocolate 72% Cocoa
Strong + Velvety Dark Chocolate 88% Cocoa
Espresso Beans + Dark Chocolate 72% Cocoa
10% of their net profits goes to save wildlife. You can learn about each of the different animals on the wrappers! I love that I can support a cause and enjoy chocolate at the same time.
The almond sea salt version is a long time favorite of mine but I am so glad I gave the others a shot. They’re just as delicious! I’m planning to buy a few others to try out next time I place an order!
I bought all of these on Iherb.com. If you use my code “QMS843” they offer 5% off your total! Certain purchases also earn you points towards future purchases. I’ve used Iherb for about 5 or 6 years. It’s great for discounted purchases. $5 for three bars of soap, come on! That’s a great deal.
This is where I bought my Acure shampoo + conditioner since I started using them 5 or 6 years ago.
BTW guys, I almost forgot to mention these!
Acure Shampoo + Conditioner:
Each are linked above under shampoo or conditioner for which ones I use. I seriously love these. I switched away for awhile out of laziness of ordering but I’m glad I made the switch back. They are absolutely amazing on my hair leaving it soft, manageable, and my scalp seems to enjoy it more than any other brand. I love that this brand is:
- Fragrance free, Hemp Seed Oil & ACV (shampoo)
- Hair Reset for Styled, Swim & Harsh Conditions
- 100% Vegan. 0% Pretentious.
- Paraben Free
- Sulfate Free
- Mineral Oil Free
- Petrolatum Free
- Formaldehyde Free
- Cruelty Free
- Leaping Bunny Certified
Conditioner
- 100% Vegan
- Paraben Free, Sulfate Free, Mineral Oil Free, Petrolatum Free, Formaldehyde Free, Cruelty Free
They offer free shipping on $20 or more right now which was my reasoning behind 3 chocolate bars lol. I also bought a more natural deodorant (pictured) however I am still trying it out before I list it here… Not 1000% sure just yet. I read some reviews that were amazing, praising the product and others said it left darker marks from the charcoal, or gave them a weird skin reaction from the baking soda. If not, I have about 3 more lined up that I plan to try!
Califia Farms Creamer: Ever since cutting milk out completely from my coffee, I found the switch the this non-dairy creamer so easy! I haven’t had milk in over a month in my coffee and this was the best switch of my life. My gut and body are thanking me. I prefer the unsweetened version but I do look forward to venturing out to others in the future!
Whether you are lactose intolerant, focusing on gut health, or just want to cut back on dairy in general– I recommend giving this a try.
And that’s it so far for this month! I plan to add anything else I might try out to next month’s blog so be on the look out for November!
Are there any products you recommend or enjoy for a more chemical free or healthier lifestyle?
Comment them below, I’d love to hear about them! I am always open to try new things.
