The Best 5 Ingredient Healthy Snickers

Honestly, these are my new fav snackaroonie EVERRR! Haha I’m such a huge dark chocolate lover. Mix that with pb? I’m frickin SOLD. I use mainly organic ingredients but you don’t have to! I eyeball everything so amounts are approximate!

What you’ll need:

Pitted Dates
Natural smooth peanut butter 
Peanuts (I used a sweet/salt mix I have)
Chocolate Chips (I used Belgian chocolate chips) feel free to use milk chocolate
Coconut oil

What to do:

  1. First, set your dates open on tray with a piece of parchment paper.
    Chop your peanuts up 
  2. In a small bowl mix a few Tbsp of pb with the chopped peanuts
  3. Using a spoon fill the dates with the pb mix and freeze for 1 hour (or until frozen)
  4. Melt ~1/4 choc chips and 1-2tsp coconut oil in a pot on low. *chocolate burns easily so stir and keep a close eye*
  5. Using a toothpick or knife or fork (carefully), poke through the dates and dip in the chocolate coating entirely and allow the excess to drip off before placing back on the tray.
  6. Once all coated, freeze for 1 hour or until chocolate is solid and enjoy!

Store in fridge or freezer. I chose the freezer!
