Hey guys! Happy Sunday! Tommy and I have a busy day ahead of us but I wanted to give you guys a quick update on our wedding plans especially because I haven’t blogged about them yet.
I have a few things already planned out, just waiting to take action on them.
About a month ago, Tommy and I decided to visit the one and only venue we saw last year. We fell in love with the barn at The Ryan Family Farm. It fits our Rustic-Italian theme so well and it’s just us!
We finally picked a date 9/4/2021.
We picked this date because we will have family traveling from closer to the city part of NY, Florida, Pennsylvania, and friends from NC. Labor day weekend will give everyone that nice long weekend, without most people having to call off from work to travel.
I honestly cannot wait to view the barn again. It’s so beautiful the way they restored it to do events. I can see cloth drapes hanging and tea lights everywhere! These are all the pics I am sharing of the barn. I want to keep most of it a surprise!
What really sold us were the bathrooms inside and the fully functional bar haha. It will make life easier for the caterers/bartenders and guests.
The barn has so much to offer and honestly, I can see us renting it for future parties as well. I think it’s absolutely beautiful!

Note:
We did talk about COVID with the owner and he was very helpful and reassuring. I know a lot of brides are having to cancel or post-pone their wedding and it’s a very sad time people are going through. We are very grateful and excited to move forward with everything into next year.
