Hey guys! Welcome back to the blog. I am so excited to jump into this recap for you and share my week. Last week was filled with fun recipes which are mostly posted on the blog here. I’ll share my dinner ones here which were super easy to make. I’ll blog them when I actually measure stuff haha. I’m that person that just throws things together… anyone else?
Sunday’s are my check-in days with my clients so I pretty much spent the morning comparing, sending them my feedback, and posting some of their progress on my socials! I’m their biggest cheerleader.
Monday, I went to my sisters house for a little to visit, then met up with a good friend at the mall. I needed to get my ring inspected asap. Usually the inspection is every 6 months which was supposed to be May.. but because of the country shutting down, I just haven’t been able to. I also love getting my ring cleaned lol. It used to be weekly but I’m not out that much anymore.
I also tried the Oui dairy-free yogurts by Yoplait finally. They are so good!! It’s hard finding a df yogurt guys. Most of the time they taste gross and have a weird texture/after taste. Not about that.
These little guys are delish and I highly recommend. I filled mine with a ton of bloobs. I’m opting for more df alternatives since I am lactose-intolerant. It’s just better for my gut!
I also plan to keep the jars and reuse them. Hello zero waste!
A couple things I am definitely making with them are soy candles (I still make those btw lol), and food storage. Just gotta get some lids. They sell them online.
I also figured out my life path number on Monday. I’m super into spiritualism and law of attraction if you don’t know me. I see alignment numbers all day long. I typically take them as a pat on the back from my spirit guides and the universe saying good job!
My life path number is 3. Let me know if you want to know how you can get yours! I can write another post on that.
After dinner (idr what it was), Tom and I walked to get some ice cream. I had a wicked craving for cookie dough for the last month. I try to be df lol.
I wrote a review on the Polar Bear where I get my ice cream awhile back. I recommend.
Tuesday, I got stung by a bee. Luckily, I’m not allergic but let me tell you. Those hurt! It crawled in my high top converse and got my ankle. Knowing me, I immediately googled what a sting meant spiritually lol. Apparently it’s good luck/good fortune, success, prosperity, expansion, and overall good things are coming my way.
I also had my other Oui yogurt to try. The strawberry is just as good as the raspberry. I didn’t grab a lot since I wasn’t sure if I would like them. Now I can’t find them anywhere lol.
As a snack, I ate a slice of peanut butter toast with organic raspberry preserves on top and a glass of Unsweetened vanilla almond milk.
I also had apple cinnamon hot tea I was sipping on too.
I really enjoy the Shoprite brand Bowl & Basket. Their natural peanut butter tastes like roasted peanuts. So yummy and they do not skimp out on the peanut chunks.
Wednesday, I was at my sisters again. I love going there and spending time with everyone. I brought my laptop to do work and then my computer died and I forgot my charger. It wasn’t meant to be lol. We ran out to the store for a few things then jumped in the pool for a little while before I had to leave.
Tommy and I went to Texas Road House for dinner. It was hot, I forgot to take something out for dinner and neither of us were in the mood to cook.
I got their chicken critters with salad and a baked potato. A little hack I use and teach my clients is to get the extras on the side. So butter and dressing on the side to dip and control the amount I want.
I had some hot tea with raw honey when we got home. I’ve had this honey forever! Honey doesn’t expire. It crystalizes and you just put it in some hot water and it’ll liquify again. I also found a fun project to do this fall. I just have to get back to the store to grab supplies before they disappear lol.
Thursday morning I baked some guilt-free fudge brownies for the house and a small batch sugar cookies for my neighbor.
For dinner we made some super easy chicken parm hero’s. Honestly, I love making chicken parm but this was a busy week so the easier the recipe, the better.
I used the Tyson frozen chicken tenders, Parmesan crusted. I’ll make these into anther blog post to do a step by step but I recommend on a busy day when you need a quick meal!
Friday morning Tom texted me a picture of a new flower that popped up! I planted wild flowers months ago and most of them never grew… This one came out of nowhere lol. It’s super pretty too. I wish I knew what it was.
I also set up my new month in my bullet journal. Every month I do a reflection on the previous month, set up goals for the new month, write out a habit tracker, and a schedule. I plan to do another blog post on this so I can put more details. I love my bullet journal.
For dinner, I made a stuffed bell pepper and a second for dinner Saturday so I wouldn’t have to cook. Tom had something else.. I honestly don’t remember what.
Saturday, I had client calls and since I had a cancellation, we headed out to run errands early. I got my hair cut, it was much needed. My hair had a lot of dry/dead on the bottom and it was getting so overgrown.
After, we took my nephew out for lunch and to look for a lizard he’s been wanting.
It’s a late b-day present. We took our time to look at all the little animals Petco had but he wasn’t seeing the one he really loved. Originally he wanted a crested gecko. We found a reptile place near by but they were closing. They did not have the crested gecko but they had something similar so this week some time we plan to take him so he can pick out his new pet! I’ll be sure to post the picture on here because it’s pretty gnarly looking.
I had fun playing with a couple lizards in Petco. The two little grey guys were my fav and I almost left with them too lol. Super cute! They remind me of baby dinosaurs. Obsessed!!!
At lunch I had a Mediterranean grilled chicken panini at Frank’s in Middletown. It was so good and really hit the spot! It was funny too because our waitress recognized me from my fitness account on IG! She was super friendly and helpful too.
Saturday turned to a rainy night so we both relaxed and hung out. I’m also a grandma and go to bed early lol.
And I think that’s it! I meant to take more pics and post more about my meals but I forgot I started these up haha. This week I’ll do better (MAYBE) haha.
Happy Monday guys!
Questions for you!
1. Do you like lizards?
2. What’s your fav quick meal to make when you lack time?
3. How was your week! Are you doing anything fun this week?
