Happy Friday guys! This month has been super busy but I am honestly so excited for all the things. My birthday is next week.. I’ll be 29 tomorrow I am getting together with some of my girlfriends for dinner and drinks. It’ll be nice to do something fun and see them again.
I’m currently sitting here listening to Christmas music… It’s not too soon and enjoying my morning so what better time than to write a little reflection blog and of what this next year will look like 29-30.
I’m actually super excited to be 29. The Golden Year isn’t it?
Either way, I’m beyond excited to see what the next 365 days will bring.
This year I have had many challenges and every year I grow stronger from them and become a better person. This was the year I took charge of my health. After awhile you just get fed up with certain things that never clear up so I’m on a hunt to find the root cause.
I started this year out wearing a heart monitor (heart is pumpin’ fine btw lol) just for perspective. I ended up being super allergic to the adhesive on the one pictured above as well as the hypoallergenic one.
I decided this year to really pay attention to the foods I eat. I am lactose intolerant so I started to cut back on the dairy I consume. I created a guide for my Bootifully Fit Babes to join in if they wanted and it held me accountable. I have not had milk in my coffee in almost 2 months. Cheese is minimal but it’s getting there! Next I plan to tackle more of my diet and really prioritize my health.
I did a lot of deep meditation and deep breathing this year. I really got in touch with my spiritual side which helped me feel immensely better in certain areas of my life, gave me a new perspective, and helped me heal things that I never realized impacted my life in a big way. Kind of picked up where I left off a couple years ago. I ran from the inner work and now I’m doing my best to dive deep inside of it.
I also invested in myself and my business this year. It was the best decision I ever made and could’ve made. I’m learning so much in every aspect of my life.
This next year I am looking to further my health, fitness, and spiritual health as well as growing my business and expanding my financial literacy. I want to grow more in all areas.
My 1 year plan for turning 29 is to have a new car.. sadly mine is breaking allll the time. She’s old (2006) lol. I’m actually looking into SUV’s.. I still want a Jeep Wrangler though. SUV’s are just more practical sometimes.
Next, my business. Bootifully Fit needs to grow more. I love the little baby she’s become but I am ready to do MORE and offer more. I have so much to share with the world and women take so much from the programs. Here’s to hitting the ground running and never looking back.
Health.. I want to figure out my skin/health problems and have them cleared up! Even if my entire lifestyle changes drastically I am 1000% okay with it. I’ll do what it takes for my body. You only get one.
Wedding!!! Tommy and I are getting married in September. So this one is a given but we have so much planning to do. I am so excited to marry him and share our special day with those coming.
House!! Not that we will have a house in 1 year but who knows! We want to build so by next year I would like to have this all planned out. At least look into properties and see what we can do.
Fitness…I’m throwing out my Ego haha. No seriously. I tell myself all the time I’m going to take it easy bla bla bla and thennnnn I deadlift and throw all the weight on. My goal is to take a few steps back work on pause deads, squats, etc. My shoulder and back are actually injured so this is for the best anyway. I also want to start incorporating more functional training with kettlebells too. I love them but it’s not something I ever really worked with much or focused on. Here’s to expansion!
I’m sure I will add to this list as the year goes on. I can’t really think right now so I’m probably forgetting a few things but I hope mine gave you some new ideas!
Let me know below if anything here inspired you to want to begin doing!
Is there anything on your 1 year plan that you accomplished or will?
Thanks for stopping by and reading! <3
