Happy Day 2 of Blogmas! I did another super easy DIY that I wanted to share with you.
A few years ago I bought this little glass vase set at Michaels and I kept some pretty fake spring flowers in it and always left it alone. This year I decided to change things up and swap the flowers out for the season. It brings a nice subtle touch to your home decor.
I buy my flower bouquets at the dollar store and just combine a few different ones.
I found some cute red and gold poinsettia’s I thought looked perfect together plus some glittered small pinecones when I bought the candy cane wreath.
All in all I start by cutting each stem from the main stem so they’re all separate.
You can arrange these any way you think looks good! I did two red and one gold in the first vase two gold and one red in the middle then two red again in the last. I placed the pinecones just over the gold poinsettia’s so it looks like they’re attached. Total accident but it worked out!
As Bob Ross would say, there’s only happy little accidents lol.
I spent some time fluffing it up a bit and making slight adjustments until I got it how I wanted. Thank you OCD.
I plan to post as frequently as possible over the next 23 days and share things I am doing to prep for Christmas, recaps, recipes, monthly favs, etc!
