Easy Italian Chicken Burgers

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lbs Ground Chicken
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Ground black pepper
  • ½ tbsp Garlic powder
  • ½ tbsp Parsley
  • ½ tbsp Onion Powder
  • 3 Fresh Basil leaves (chopped) or sub for dried basil
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients EXCEPT breadcrumbs.
  • Sprinkle in bread crumbs little at a time and mix thoroughly. You may not need the full cup or you might need more. You don't want a super dry burger but enough to keep it together.
  • Form the meat into patties and prep a skillet with apprx 1 tbsp EVOO, non-stick spray, or heat your grill.
  • Cook the burgers on both sides over medium heat until well done. I use a meat thermometer so I don't over cook here. Apprx 5-6 min each side.
  • Prep buns and toppings while burgers cook.
  • Enjoy! Add a tbsp of Italian dressing to dip in on the side.
