3Fresh Basil leaves (chopped)or sub for dried basil
1Large Egg
1cupBreadcrumbs
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients EXCEPT breadcrumbs.
Sprinkle in bread crumbs little at a time and mix thoroughly. You may not need the full cup or you might need more. You don't want a super dry burger but enough to keep it together.
Form the meat into patties and prep a skillet with apprx 1 tbsp EVOO, non-stick spray, or heat your grill.
Cook the burgers on both sides over medium heat until well done. I use a meat thermometer so I don't over cook here. Apprx 5-6 min each side.
Prep buns and toppings while burgers cook.
Enjoy! Add a tbsp of Italian dressing to dip in on the side.
