Homemade Trail Mix

Inflammatory oil free, dye free and no extra unnecessary sugars. Perfect for hiking, road trips, or just to have as a healthy snack in the house!

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup plain raisins
  • cup chopped plain walnuts
  • cup whole or chopped plain almonds
  • 6 squares 72% or higher dark chocolate *or preferred type
  • ¼ cup plain sunflower seeds

Method
 

  1. Measure and combine all nuts, seeds, and raisins in a small bowl
  2. Chop the chocolate (about 6 squares) into small pieces and mix into the rest
  3. Add any other mix-ins you like such as peanuts, cashews, etc.
  4. Split into one container to store or for easy snack prep about 3-4 small containers or ziplock bags to have over the next couple days so they're easy to grab and go
